Doris Gene Burchfield of Cleveland announces the engagement of his daughter, Angela Michele, of Memphis, to the Rev. Phillip Steven Dearman of Belzoni, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Steven Dearman of Enterprise. Miss Burchfield is the daughter of the late Mrs. Doris Gene Burchfield.
The wedding will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2002, at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Belzoni.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Earl Alford Sr. of Indianola. Miss Burchfield, formerly of Indianola, made her home with Mrs. James Davis Burchfield and the late Mr. Burchfield of Indianola.
Miss Burchfield is a graduate of Indianola Academy and received a bachelor's of business administration in marketing from Mississippi State University. She is a training specialist for Exxon Mobil Corporation of Memphis.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Robert Wesley Boles of Stonewall and the late Mrs. Boles, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Morris William Dearman of Enterprise.
The Rev. Dearman received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of West Alabama and a master's of divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
The bridegroom-elect is the minister at the First United Methodist Church in Belzoni.
