The Belgreen Bulldogs and Red Bay Tigers both finished runners up in their respective area tournaments to earn a bid in the North Regionals in Florence.

Belgreen finished runner up to Hackleburg in the Class 1A Area 13 tournament.

The Bulldogs beat county rival Vina 14-4 to open the tournament before losing to Hackleburg 8-0, sending the Bulldogs to the elimination bracket. There, Belgreen beat Vina again, this time 12-2 before falling to Hackleburg in the championship game 8-2.

Belgreen will open regional play with Area 14 winner Meek.

Red Bay finished runner up to Winston County in the Class 2A Area 13 tournament.

The Tigers beat county rival Tharptown 6-3 in the opening game of the tournament. Red Bay was sent to the elimination bracket after losing to Winston County 3-2. There, the Tigers faced Tharptown again. This time, Red Bay beat the Wildcats 8-4. The Tigers fell to the Yellow Jackets in the championship game 8-0.

Red Bay will open regional play with Area 14 winner Lindsey Lane.
