Concerts scheduled

The West Lauderdale and Southeast Lauderdale bands will be performing in concert together on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in Ivy Hall at Meridian Community College. The West and Southeast bands will play two numbers each separately and then combine for the last five numbers.
The bands are under the direction of Wesley J. Lollis, C.J. Holditch, Angela Lollis and Carey Smith.
The musical program will include "Coast Guards" by Karl King, "Encanto" by Robert Smith, "They Led My Lord Away" by Fred Allen, "Ghost Fleet" by Robert Sheldon, "Highlight from the Empire Strikes Back'" by John Williams, "Blue and the Gray" by Clare Grundman, "Paradiso" by Robert Smith, "Concerto Gross for Three Kazoos" by Hirsch, and "America, the Beautiful" by Carmen Dragon.
There is no charge for admission to the concert.
