Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ward Barlow of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Marbi Elizabeth, to Jason Erik Fellows of Hattiesburg, son of Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Hall of Laurel and the late Robert Fellows Jr.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 11, 2002, at 5 p.m. in the courtyard of St. Vincent's Guest House in New Orleans.
Miss Barlow is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Fulton Barlow Jr., Mr. and Mrs. R.M. "Poochie" Pigott, the late Howard Ralph Weeks and the late Joseph William Leister, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect attended Meridian High School and plans to attend Jones County Junior College pursuing a degree in cosmetology.
While attending MHS, she was a member of the 4-H Modeling Squad.
Mr. Fellows is the grandson of the late Robert S. Fellows Sr. and the late Hazel Thomas of Laurel, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hillman Gatlin.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast Jones High School and attended Jones County Junior College.
Mr. Fellows is employed by Wadleigh and Associates of Slidell, La.
A reception will be held at St. Vincent's guest house following the ceremony.
