Alexander is a first-grade teacher's assistant at Clarkdale Attendance Center. Clarkdale High School Principal Charles King, middle, and Clarkdale Attendance Center Principal Jan Miller also had their hair dyed green.
The dye jobs were part of a deal with the elementary students: the teachers would dye their hair green if students raised at least $3,000. The students raised more than $5,800.
The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life is set for June 7-8, from 7 p.m.-7 a.m., at Meridian High School's Ray Stadium. For more information, call 482-0166.
