The Sports Bulletin Board normally runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. There are three ways to submit items for publication. GOLF TOURNAMENTS
Quitman Country Club Annual 4-Ball Invitational
There will be a 4-ball invitational June 8-9, tee times are 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day. Entry fee is $200 per team. Prizes will be awarded for first through third place. A catfish supper with all the trimmings Saturday night, Calcutta and music Saturday night, food and drinks each day on the course. American Cancer Society
Buddy McGhee 6 Person Scramble
The American Cancer Society Buddy McGhee 6 person scramble golf tournament will be held June 22-23. Tee time is 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Deadline to enter is June 20. Cost is $330 per team ($55 per player- includes mulligan) Call Briawood Country Club at 681-6183.
The Kenyatta Walker Foundation
Champions for Children Celebrity Golf
The Kenyatta Walker Foundation Champions for Children Celebrity Golf Tournament will be held June 28-29, at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club at the Pearl River Resort. Proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Mississippi. Sponsorship Levels are Platinum (six players) $15,000; Gold sponsor (six players), $10,000; Silver sponsor(four players), $5,000; Corporate sponsor (four players),$2,500; Scoreboard sponsor,( two players), $1,500; Hole sponsor, $250; Cart Sponsor, $100; and a golf patron, $325 (Individual golfer). Quitman Country Club Mixed Scramble
There will be a mixed scramble golf tournament at the Quitman Country Club on June 29-30. Tee times are 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. There will be a steak dinner after play on Saturday and snacks after play on Sunday. Entry fee is $50 per person, and cash prizes will be awarded. Newton Country Club Two Person Scramble
A two person scramble golf tournament will be held June 29-30 at the Newton Country Club. Entry fee is $25 per person with a limited field of first 36 teams. Causeyville Raceway
The Go-Kart racing season is under way at Causeyville Raceway. Causeyville Raceway is located two miles south of Causeyville on the Causey-Clarke Rd. For more information, call 644-3535.
STA-BIL Mississippi Mower Mania
A Race for Riding Lawn Mowers, will be held June 8 at Horn Lake, at 1 p.m. at "Bullfrog Corner", Highway 51 and Goodman Road. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children 6-12 and free for kids under five. This is sanctioned by the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association. BASEBALL TOURNAMENTS
Brett McClendon Memorial Baseball Classic
A baseball tournament will be held on June 7-9 at Bearpen Park in Cleveland. There will be two age groups 12 under and 13 under. Fee is $200 with three games guaranteed. All money will go to a scholarship at Delta State University. For more information call Destry Harmon at 662-742-4242.
Pensacola Summer Classic
The Pensacola "Summer Classic" Super Series Baseball of America National Qualifying Tournament will be held June 7-9. Individual ages are 8U-12U Coach pitch. Pensacola Firecracker Classic

SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS
Relay for Life Softball Tournament
The annual Relay for Life fundraiser will hold a co-ed softball tournament and walkathon will be held June 7-8 at the Laurel Sportsplex. The tournament will start at 6 p.m. and is a two home run limit. Entry fee is $50 per team and or $20 per person with a limit of 10 teams. Deadline to enter is June 4. Hub City Summer Blast
There will be a USSSA national qualifier softball tournament at Tatum Complex in Hattiesburg on June 8-9 for men's class B/C and D/E. CAMPS
East Central Community College Baseball Camp
The ECCC Baseball camp will be held over two weeks and are scheduled for ages 6-12 May 28-May 30, 8 a.m.-noon each day. Another camp will be held for students age 13 to high school juniors, June 17-June 19, 9 a.m.- noon each day. Both camps will be held at Jamie Clark Memorial Stadium. Cost in $40 per camper. MCC/Rush Baseball Camp
