QUITMAN Services for Janie Dunnam Dew will be held today at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Michael Soesbe and Terry Irby officiating. Burial will be in East Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mrs. Dew, 85, of Quitman, died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice in Marion.
Survivors include two sons, Perry "Sonny" Wesley Dew Jr. and his wife, Bettye, Collin "Buddy" Lavelle Dew and his wife, Patsy, all of Stonewall; two daughters, Octavia Phillips and Peggy Lee, both of Stonewall; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Rolling Creek Building Fund.

UNION Services for Oscar "Cat" Herrington will be held today at 2 p.m. at Little Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Higginbothom officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Herrington, 94, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a retired timber buyer with Buck Walter Lumber Company and was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nonie Mary Herrington of Little Rock, one son, Oscar M. Herrington Jr. and his wife, Florance Jean, of Collinsville; two daughters, "Bobbie" Bess Ann White and her husband, Kenneth, and Betty White and her husband, Pete, all of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Dr. John Herrington, Lori Anne Cosgrove and Julie White; one great-grandchild, Kaleigh Cosgrove; two sisters, Eldie Howington and Nellie Montague, both of Little Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 8 a.m.1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Henry D. Henry will be held today at 3 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. David Ray Hardy officiating. Burial will be in Neshoba Cemetery.
Mr. Henry, 93, of Union, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his nephews, Covert Henry of Union, and Harold W. Henry of Florence; a niece, Carrol Stuart of Winston Salem, N.C.
Visitation will be today at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial services for Nancy Jean Crenshaw will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pachuta United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Pugh officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Crenshaw, of Lake Eddins in Pachuta, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Jack V. Crenshaw of Lake Eddins; a daughter, Debra Walker of Key Largo, Fla.; two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.

Services for James W. Temple will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Temple, 75, of Meridian, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at the Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of RSVP and a lifetime member of the VFW.
Survivors include the mother of his children, Laura Temple of Meridian; his children, Harold Temple and Myra Hyman and her husband, Micah, all of Meridian; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Robin Temple; three brothers, Leon Temple, Paul Temple and Thomas Temple, all of Jackson; three sisters, Tanp Lowery and her husband, Burnell, of Jackson, Helen Bermudez of Gulfport and Willa Jean Clark of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Curtis Temple and Thelma Temple; and a brother, Eric Temple.
The family requests memorials be made to Arkadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his brothers-in-law and close friends.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
