The "Save Merrehope for Me" campaign is in full swing. People can become involved by joining Friends of Merrehope. Annual membership is $10 and includes a quarterly news letter.
Merrehope and the F.W. Williams home are in need of repairs and the Meridian Restoration Foundation is in process of raising funds for the two historic homes.
The homes are at 905 Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Dr. and open for tours Monday-Saturday. For information, call 483-8439.
