MACON Services for Nell Miller will be held today at 2 p.m. at Concord Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Vaughn and Paul Brown officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Macon. Cockrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Miller, 78, of Macon, died Sunday, June 29, 2003, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Ricks of Macon; sons, Gary Miller, Mike Miller and Kenny Miller, all of Macon; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jimmy Sanders of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurston Miller; and a son, Johnny Miller.
Memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Church.

Services for Guy B. Butler will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Butler, 65, of Meridian, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Guy J. Butler and his wife, Tammy, Margie Erwin, Joe Butler and his wife, Olivia, and Sara Dikes and her husband, Chris, all of Meridian, Kenneth Ray Butler and his wife, Glenda and John H. Butler and his wife, Sandra, all of Florence; 12 grandchildren, Stephen Butler, Kristy Butler, Nicole Butler, Angela Butler, Haley Butler, J.R. Erwin, Richard Erwin, Justin Butler, Davey Pool, Brianna Dikes, Shannon Butler and Randy Butler; a brother-in-law, Ernest Redfern; siblings, David Butler and his wife, Fannie, of Magee, J.M. Butler and his wife, Dot, Dan Butler and Kenneth Redfern and his wife, Bernice, and George Mitchell and his wife, Dorothy, all of Richland, Frank Hinton and his wife, Willie Mae, of Crystal Springs, Truman Higgins and his wife, Grace, of Mt. Olive, Harlos McPhail and his wife, Janie, Billy Kirkley and his wife, Patsy, and Jack Butler and his wife, Lois, all of Prentiss, and John Butler and his wife, Sybil, of New Hebron; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Robert "Bill" Calvin Allen will be held today at 3 p.m. at Elim Baptist Church with the Revs. David Menasco, John Edwards and Richard Gooch officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Allen, 69, of Quitman, died Saturday, June 28, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Elim Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine Allen of Quitman; a son, Robert C. "Bob" Allen Jr. of Quitman; daughters, Debbie Johnson and her husband, Buck, of Stonewall, Hope Diamond and her husband, Jimmy, of Quitman and Jeannie Allen of Stonewall; sisters, Elaine Tucker and Relda Holifield, both of Quitman, and Diane Boman of Meridian; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the service.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. Services for Mary Cathryn Penney Stacey will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Penney Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Stacey, 79, of Huntsville, died Sunday, June 29, 2003, in Huntsville.
Survivors include her son, Gary Jack Stacey and his wife, Wanda Hamm Stacey; and three grandchildren; all of Meridian.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Annie Sims will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Tony Blanchard officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Sims, 79, of Philadelphia, died Monday, June 30, 2003, at Hilltop Manor in Union. She was a retired seamstress for Wells Lamont in Philadelphia.
Survivors include her daughter, Virginia Fanning of Philadelphia; a brother, Clinton Roberson of Union; one grandson and two great-grandsons.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Herman L. Robinson, 73, of Meridian, who died Monday, June 30, 2003, in his home.
Arrangements were incomplete at E.E. McDonald Funeral Home of DeKalb for Neal Gowdy, 99, of Lauderdale, who died Sunday, June 29, 2003, in his home.
