Memorial services for Viola Hamacher were to be held today at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was to be in Magnolia Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hamacher, 89, of Haines City, Fla., formerly of Meridian, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at Haines City Health Care Center. She was born in Meridian on Oct. 22, 1913 and moved to Haines City more than three years ago. She was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Gary Hamacher of Winter Haven, Fla.; 40 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hamacher.
QUITMAN Services for Theresa Sue Boutwell Farmer will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Stonewall with the Revs. Joe Gulluck, C.A. Farmer and Norman Robinson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Creek Cemetery in Clarke County. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Farmer, 47, of Pascagoula, died, Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Sherman of Pascagoula; a son, Shone Farmer; daughters, Stacey Massey, Ashley Farmer and Kaleigh Cates, all of Meridian; brothers, Bobby Boutwell and Ray Boutwell, both of Pascagoula; sisters, Ann Tanner and Jean Davis, both of Meridian, Billie Fagan and Delois Wimberly, both of Stonewall and Theda Tindle of Baton Rouge, La.; and four grandchildren.
Services for Helen Snowden will be held today at 3 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dr. Jason Bird and Dr. Bob Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Snowden, 83, of Meridian, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, in her home. She was a member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church. She was a former bookkeeper for O.L. Snowden and Sons Construction Company.
Survivors include her husband, James Fred Snowden of Meridian; daughters, Judy Snowden Dement and her husband, John, and Becky Snowden Wright and her husband, Charles, all of Meridian; five grandchildren, Scott Dement, Corey Dement Weed, Snowden Wright, Taff Wright and Parker Wright.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Allen; sisters, Dorathy Cardon and Betty Anderson.
Memorials may be made to Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Scott Dement, Snowden Wright, Parker Wright, Bruce Martin, Ronny Hampton, Everett Coleman and Scott Weed.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Services for George V. McDade will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Bay Springs Baptist Church in Kemper County with the Rev. R.L. Honeycutt officiating. Burial will be the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McDade, 73, of Scooba, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite S. McDade; a son, George A. McDade; brothers, E.H. McDade and John C. McDade; three grandsons, Joseph "Jody" McDade, Richard "Wade" McDade and Tomy McDade and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Roxie T. Downey will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Bladon Springs Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Downey, 94, of Midwest City, Okla., died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Midwest City.
Survivors include her six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Thursday 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
