JACKSON The Mississippi Army National Guard's 367th Maintenance Company, headquartered in Philadelphia, has received mobilization orders.
The orders are part of a Presidential Partial Mobilization of reserve forces in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
About 180 members from the 367th will report to their armory Tuesday to make preparations for departure to their mobilization station at Fort Lewis, Wash., on Sept. 5.
There, they will support the 3rd Brigade 2nd Infantry Division, one of the newly-formed Stryker Brigade Combat Teams. While at Fort Lewis, the members will conduct post mobilization training and subsequently deploy to an unknown overseas location.
The mission of the 367th is to provide direct support maintenance and repair parts for units operating in an assigned area of responsibility.
Under a partial mobilization, reservists can be activated for 24 consecutive months.
