QUITMAN Services for Betty Bentley Brown will be held today at 11 a.m. at Enterprise Methodist Church with the Revs. Richard Williams, Taylor Wallace and Roger Ivey officiating. Burial will be in the Enterprise Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown, 94, of Enterprise, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Joyce Roberson of Enterprise; a brother, M.C. "Chunk" Bentley of Rose Hill; one grandchild, two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Albert B. Harrison will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Browning officiating. Burial will be in Pine Forest Cemetery.
Mr. Harrison, 70, of the Martin Community, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, in his home. He was retired from General Motors and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his son, Mike Harrison of Martin; daughters, Lisa Seal and her husband, Jimmy, of Meridian, Robin Sanchez and her husband, Kenny, of Shreveport, La., Stacy Carroll and her husband, Mark, of Demopolis, Ala., and Paula Threatt and her husband, David, of Martin; eight grandchildren, Casey Harrison, Eric Seale, Kimberly Seale, Brooke Martin, Braxton Harrison, Derek Threatt, Matt Martin and Jordan Threatt; a brother, Billy Harrison; sisters, Doxie Creel, Imagene Fisher, Jessie Hicks and Martha Leach; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Mark Carroll, Gerold Castle, Kenny Sanchez, Jimmy Seale, Troy Stamper, Joe Terrell, David Threatt and Johnny Warren.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Former Southern Railroad employee
Services for Robin Lamar Morgan will be held today at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan, 46, of Meridian, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his mother, Hollis Mathis of Meridian; a brother, John E. Hastings Jr. of Meridian; a sister, Crystal Hastings Daniel and a nephew, Ryan Neal Daniel, both of Charleston, S.C.; his grandmother, Juanita Holyfield of Meridian; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, G. Andrew Morgan Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy McMullan, Sonny McMullan, Todd Easterwood, Jerry Freeman, Bonner Edwards Jr., Guy Davenport and Karo McCary.
Visitation will be today 11 a.m. until service time.

UNION Services for Rachel Horne Walters will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kevin Burns and Joseph Abshire officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Walters, 88, of Union, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, in Union. She was a life long member of First Baptist Church in Union.
Survivors include her daughter, Sylvia Horne Burns and her husband, William, of Alexandria, La.; a son, Ralph Horne and his wife, Susan, of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Dannie Little of Pontotoc and Estelle Brooks of Batesvile; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hurley H. Horne and Covert Walters.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Horne, Morgan Horne, Brooks Horne, Ragan Burns, Blair Slocum and Glen Harrison.
NATCHEZ Services for Linda Robinson Huddleston will be held today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Natchez with the Rev. Dr. Judson W. Hurt officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Laird Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Huddleston, 56, of Natchez, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, in her home. She was born April 1, 1947, in Quitman, the daughter of Charles Vivian "Dim" and Winnie Adams Robinson. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Auburn Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Huddleston of Natchez; a son, Jerry "Jay" Huddleston Jr. and his wife, Christie, of Clinton; a daughter, Melanie Huddleston of Philadelphia; a grandson, Joshua Huddleston of Clinton; brothers, Charles Robinson of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Edward Robinson of Theodore, Ala.; and a sister, Tommie Lou Long of Quitman.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Herring, Oliver Lee, Harrell Cothern, Cidney Kerben, Sam Blacklege, Barrett Martin, Kenneth Moss and Larry Bowman.
Honorary pallbearer will be Roice Whittington.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

Services for David Vincent Boyd will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ron Jones and Claude Killion officiating. Burial will be in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarke County.
Mr. Boyd, 50, of Meridian, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Boyd; daughters, Michelle Boyd, Brandy Boyd and Taylor Boyd; brothers, Randy Boyd and his wife, Dena, Bobby Boyd and his wife, Joanie, and Butch Boyd, all of Meridian; two nieces and several nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Louise Boyd; a daughter, Heather Marie Boyd; and a brother, Mike Boyd.
Pallbearers will be Lance Hinson, Vince Hinson, Eric Johnson, Sonny Johnson, William Reece and Dewayne Todd.
Visitation will be held today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for James David Abston Sr. will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Gilbertown Baptist Church with the Revs. Paul Mathews and Rusty Bird officiating. Burial will be in Gilbertown Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Abston, 82, of Gilbertown, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, in Waynesboro.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Lucille Gibson Abston of Gilbertown; sons, Donal Larry Abston and Thomas Eddie Abston, both of Gilbertown, and James D. Abston Jr. of Butler; a daughter, Jimmie Faye Abston McFadden of Birmingham, Ala.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the church.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for George Daniels, 65, of Chicago, who died Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, in Chicago.
