Two killed in Kemper County accident

Two people were killed Monday following a three-car accident that happened at about 8 p.m. on Highway 16 East between DeKalb and Scooba in Kemper County.
Clayton Cobler, Lauderdale County coroner, said John McCormick, 72, of Anniston, Ala., died after being transported to Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
Another person died on the scene of the accident, but his identity was not available today from Kemper County Coroner Kathy Lanier.
