The Nu Upsilon Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Meridian Community College is participating in "Project Graduation, Feed a Body, Feed a Mind" designed to help alleviate hunger and illiteracy in the community.
Graduating students and guests are asked to bring non-perishable food items and/or books, particularly children's books, to the college's graduation ceremony Monday at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center.
Collected items will be delivered to Wesley House. Commencement ceremonies will begin at 7:30 p.m.
