BUTLER, Ala. Services for Vivian Barr Norwood will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Higdon and John Pemberton officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Lavaca. Bumpers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Norwood, 84, of Butler, died Friday, June 4, 2004, in her home.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth C. Norwood and his wife, Betty, of Butler; a daughter, Jan Mosley and her husband, Ken, of Mobile; seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

LAUREL A memorial service for Nell Stewart Beason will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Beason, 77, of Laurel, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, in her home. She was a homemaker and retired business woman. She was a supporter of the Animal Rescue League, the Christian Food Mission and was a longtime member of Business and Professional Women.
Survivors include her daughters, Jo Carrol Beason Massey and her husband, Edwin, of Vero Beach, Fla., Jane Beason Dees and her husband, George, of Laurel and Dianne Beason of Mandeville, La.; five grandchildren, Michelle Massey Banack, Kimberly Massey Bianco, Greg Dees, Paul Massey, and Jennifer Dees Johnson and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mose Beason and a grandson, George Dees.
Memorials may be made to the Animal Rescue League.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Services for Harry Joe Tew will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Ruffin officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Tew, 75, of Meridian, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Beverly Health Care Center.
Survivors include his sons, David Tew and his wife, Cile, Terry Tew and his wife, Shelley; a daughter, Linda Poythress and her husband, Ronnie; and a sister, Marjorie Shepherd, all of Meridian; grandchildren, Hayley Morphis, Jeremy Tew, Ryan Poythress, Lauren Poythress, Taylor Tew, Will Covington, Jonathan Leslie and one great-grandchild, Abby Morphis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Meredith Tew.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
SEBASTOPOL Services for Lillie Joe Clemons will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Pearl River Baptist Church with the Rev. George Dixon officiating. Burial will be the Isaac Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Clemons, 79, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, at Jeff Anderson Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Ann Clemons Tubby of Choctaw; two step-sons, Lloyd Clemons of Kemper County and Wayne Clemons of Dallas, Texas; a son-in-law, Presley Tubby of Choctaw; a sister, Corine Tubby of Choctaw; a brother, Claude Joe of Bogue Chitto; six grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; seven nieces and two nephews.
Arrangements were incomplete at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home for Yolanda Michelle Thomas, 31, of Meridian, who died Wednesday, June 3, 2004, at Riley Hospital.
