Wayne Smith, age 71. Loving husband to Barb (nee Bondi); proud father of Debbie Sanson (husband Dave), and Jen Pawlikowsky (husband Dean); dearest "pa" to Samantha Sanson; brother to Doris Seal, Wymon (deceased), Revell (Lois), Emiline Lowrie (deceas-ed); uncle of many.
Wayne was the Founder of Bay West Products.
He passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007. Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 10 with burial at Holy Cross.
He was a native of Franklin County and was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Susie Smith and siblings, Wymon and Emilene.

W.C. Swinney, age 59, of Russellville, died Aug. 17, 2007 at his daughter's home. He was an employee of V.F. Corp., formerly Blue Bell Wrangler for 41 years, and had been distribution manager of Wrangler Distribution Center in Hackleburg for the past 11 years.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at Kesler Funeral Home in Baldwin, Miss. with East Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Baldwin.
He is survived by wife, Linda Huddleston Swinney of Russellville; daughter, Renee Columbus and, husband, Gene, of Collieville, Tenn.; granddaughters, Nicole Elizabeth, Ryan Oliver, and Abigail Lynn; sister, Elizabeth Troxler and husband, Gene, of Tupelo, Miss.; brothers, Lee Alvis Swinney and wife, Fredia, Danny Swinney and, wife, Lisa, all of Baldwin, Jerry Swinney and wife, Elaine, of Baton Rouge, La.; brother-in-law, Phil Huddleston and wife, Annette, and mother-in-law, Alicie Mae Huddleston, all of Bonneville, Miss.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Opal Swinney, and father-in-law, Truman Huddleston.
Pallbearers for the service include Gene Columbus, Todd Swinney, Brad Swinney, Ben Troxler, Will Troxler, Drew Troxler, Justin Swinney, Seth Swinney, John Swinney, and Jason Huddleston.
