Ricky Sterling Price, age 10 of Haleyville, passed away September 27, 2007 at his residence. He was a student at Haleyville Elementary School, and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Double Springs.
Funeral services were held Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville with Jerry Richie officiating the service.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah Price; sisters, Patricia Beckwith and Shiloh Price; grandparents, Betty Ricketts, Gary Ricketts and Ricky Price.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Wesley Beckwith, and father, Ricky Martin Price.
Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville assisted the family.
Fannie Orick

Fannie Sue Orick, age86 of Red Bay, died September 27, 2007 at Glenwood Rehabilitation and Convalescent Center in Florence. She was born May 1, 2921 to Marion and Effie Reagan. She was a dental assistant for Lemuel McRight D.D.S. for 15 years and retired as the manager of ARC Consignment Shop in Red Bay. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Red Bay for 57 years, and was a graduate of Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Orick, her parents, fiver sisters, Lillie Thornton, Audie Hamilton, Bessie Nelson, Reeda Reagan, and Velvie Gaskgill and three brothers, Fred Reagan, Roy Reagan, and Gray Reagan.
Funeral services were held September 30, 2007 with Bro. Larry Hill officiating the service. Burial was in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by son, Raymond Charles Orick, Jr. of Tupelo, Miss.; granddaughters, Andrea M. Morris and husband, James Mac, of Tuscumbia, and Amanda J. Orick of Tupelo; grandson, Gregory c. Orick of Santa Barbara, Cal.; great-grandsons, Chayton Tanner Morris and Brodie Trace Morris of Tuscumbia, and Andrew Lance Fleming of Florence.

Edna Holland

Edna Holland, age 96, of Red Bay died September 29, 2007 at the Care Center in Red Bay. She was born September 16, 2007 in Alabama to John and Nannie Creekmore. She was a homemaker and a member of Hurricane Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Dellie Holland and her parents.
Funeral services were held Oct. 1, 2007 at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Loyd Griffus and Bro. Nathan Davidson officiating the service. Burial was in the Ebenezeer cemetery.
She is survived by daughter, Lena Mitchell and husband, Danny, of Red Bay; sons, J.D. Holland and wife, Gwen, of Hodges, and R.V. Holland and wife, Clara, of Red Bay; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Beatrice Creekmore of Vina.
Pallbearers for the service included Johnny Mitchell, Pat Mitchell, Robert Holland, Roy Mitchell, Chuck Owens, and Phil Montgomery.
Brenda Ozbirn

Brenda Kaye Ozbirn, age 56 of Muscle Shoals, died September 27, 2007 at ECM Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1951 in Alabama and was an employee of the Care Center of Red Bay as a Certified Nursing Assistant for eight years.
She was a member of Holly Springs Freewill Baptist Church and attended Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Scott Ozbirn.
Funeral services were held September 29, 2007 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Tom Scott and Bro. Mark McCarnery officiating the service. Burial was in the Holly Springs cemetery.
She is survived by daughter, Misty Hester and husband, Dwight Hill, of Muscle Shoals; grandson, Treyton Hill; brothers Larry Ozbirn and wife, Dianne, of Spruce Pine, Lowell Ozbrin and wife, Sarah, Golden, Miss., and Loyd Ozbirn and wife, Martha, of Red Bay; Nanna of Summer Clark, Triston Dill, Skylor Dill and Preston Lindsey; a host of nieces and nephews, and great-nephew, Gavin Loague.
Pallbearers for the service include Scotty Ozbirn, Jason Ozbirn, Zach Taylor, Greg McGuire, Tommy Draper, Lance Taylor, and Jerry Campbell.

Charles Kimbrell

Charles Earnest Kimbrell, age 49, of Russellville, passed away on September 30, 2007 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a member of North Highland Church of Christ and was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. He was preceded in death by wife, Marie Kimbrell; and father, Earnest Lloyd Kimbrell.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007 at Spry Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. at Spry Memorial Chapel with Sister Deborah Guthrie and Bro. James Phillips officiating the service. Burial will be in the Keeton Cemetery in Navuoo at 2 p.m.
Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville assisted the family.
Harold Oliver
September 30, 2007
Harold Gene Oliver, age 75 of Russellville, died Sunday, September 30, 2007 at Russellville Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and member of Siloam Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the Army and was retired from Blue Star USA with 38 years of service.
Funeral services were held October 2, 2007 at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with Roger Bond and Dennis Steward officiating the service.
Burial was in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Martha E. Oliver; sons, Jerry P. Oliver and Larry D. Oliver of Russellville; grandchildren, Brett A. Oliver, Chad D. Oliver, Shaun S. Oliver, and Chase E. Oliver, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, W.A. and Lilly Mae Oliver; brother, A.W. Oliver; and sisters, Pearline Crittenden,Lurline Steward, and Elizabeth Ann Fuller.
