Charlene Annie Lou Peters Mitchell, 80, Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Mitchell was a previous member of Rocky Top Baptist Church, Hackleburg, and a current member of Antioch Baptist Church, of Phil Campbell. She loved gospel music, attending singings and singing with her family. She loved everyone around her, always finding the good in people. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Funeral services were Friday, April 12, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Mark Daniel officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Rocky Top Baptist Church Cemetery, Hackleburg.

She is survived by her daughters, Betty Green and husband, Mark, Pauline Chandler and husband, Allen, Patsy Dixon and husband, Charlie, Gina Loveless; sons, Charlie Mitchell and wife, Susan, Jackie Mitchell and wife, Amy, Tommy Mitchell; 17 grandchildren, Jodie, Jessica, Tony, Heath, Amy, April, Charlie, Austin, Ashley, Shanna, Brittany, Dereck, Lee, Cade, Cameron, Frankie, Scotty; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Peters and wife, Helen; sister, Irene Borden and husband, Billy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Mitchell; sons, Randall Mitchell, Jimmy Mitchell; grandson, Heath Hulsey; parents, Willie and Bertie Peters.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hospice of North Alabama and our nurses, Jennifer Cooper and Jodi Trulove for the wonderful care shown towards our mother and family.
