Jerry Hudon Johnson, 65, Tuscumbia, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Brian Scott.  Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Russellville.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Mitchell, Theresa and Conway Orrick and Jerry Johnson II; grandchildren, Joseph Johnson, Julia Mitchell, Heather Orrick, Stephanie Orrick, Dustin Orrick, Nathan Orrick, Jade Johnson and Jerry Johnson III; great-grandchild, Lindon Slate Miller; and  a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Dian Sweeney Johnson; parents, Joel Benjamin Johnson and Della Mae Johnson; siblings, Sam Johnson, Bill Johnson, Melvin Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Annie Jo Bates, Faye Murray and David Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Jim Murray, Richard Murray, Ronnie Johnson, Nathan Sheffield, Johnny Johnson and Richard Hughes.
