RHS Show Choir to perform

The Russellville Fine Arts Department under the direction of Joey Derr will present “Tiger Club Café” Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. Both Russellville Drama and the Russellville Show Choir will be featured in the program. The students have worked steadily since September on making this show great. “Tiger Club Café” provides every student in the program an opportunity to perform solo and to exhibit his or her individual talent.

“This particular performance will allow every student to showcase their different abilities, in acting, singing and dancing,” Derr said.

Derr said he wanted the show to be relaxed and so the coffee house theme seemed to fit the students and the program perfectly. Derr is most excited to see his students perform the Michael Bublé version of “Jingle Bells.”

“I’m very excited about this show and the opportunity it gives to highlight every student’s strength,” Derr said. “Everyone gets a chance to be in the spotlight.”

The show will be in the Russellville High School Auditorium. The admission is $2 per person and coffee and other refreshments will be available for sale in the lobby.
