Red Cross offers special incentives to host winter blood drives

This winter, students have an exciting opportunity to earn gift cards and win a college scholarship from the American Red Cross – all while helping to save lives.
High school and college students are encouraged to host a Leaders Save Lives blood drive between Dec. 15, 2015, and Jan. 15, 2016, to be entered to win while gaining valuable leadership experience.
According to www.redcrossblood.org/leaderssavelives, the American Red Cross is giving away $8,000 in scholarships as part of the Leaders Save Lives campaign. Leaders Save Lives is a scholarship opportunity for high school and college students. Participants “will gain a meaningful leadership and community service experience” and “may become eligible to win a scholarship and earn a gift card.”
