Edna Jean Potter

Edna Jean Potter, age 80, Phil Campbell, passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2015.

The visitation was held Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 at Akins Funeral Home. The funeral service was held at Pleasant Hill FCM Church on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 with Bro. Darryl Whitehead and Bro. Merrell Potter officiating. Interment was in East Franklin Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Joey Quillen, Jonathon Baker, Jason Baker, Eric Ergle, Jeremy Potter, and Cory Potter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddie O. Potter; son, Gary O. Potter; granddaughter, April Harvey; great granddaughter, Haley Richardson; parents, Ausie and Susie Blankenship; brothers, Hillard Blankenship, Willard Blankenship; sister, Lorene Colburn.

She was survived by her children: Steve Potter and wife, Susan, Mary Potter wife of the late Gary Potter, Rhonda Baker and husband, Charles, Wendy Ergle and husband, David, Gregg Potter and wife, Angela; siblings, Leon Blankenship and wife, Jackie, Beatrice Potter and husband, Edison, Faye Carey and husband, Raymond, Dan Blankenship and wife, Brenda; 19 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
