Willie Lavrette Baker Hudson

Willie Lavrette Baker Hudson, 82, Phil Campbell, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at her residence.

She was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. She was a volunteer of arts and crafts at East Franklin Elementary School, avid painter, and loved arts and crafts.

The family will received friends Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. Funeral service followed in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Kimbrough officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include son, David B. Hudson Jr. and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Brad, Seth and Shelby; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Dr. David B. Hudson, Sr.; son, Sean Baker Hudson.

The family would like to thank Davita Dialysis in Russellville for many years of caring and respectful help they gave her. Nana loved Alabama Football! She said, “Roll Tide” on her last day. We hope that she touched many hearts in her life, she so loved the children. Mom is now in Heaven with my dad, brothers and many beloved family members.

Special thanks to all the many nurses and doctors that cared for her over the last ten years.
