Robert Lee Hill

Robert Lee Hill, age 87, Russellville, departed this earthly life into eternal rest April 9.

Robert lived his entire life in Russellville. He and his wife, Joyce, faithfully worshipped at Jonesboro Baptist Church, where he served as deacon. Robert retired from Reynolds Research and Development after 35 years of service with retirement years being filled with family, gardening and hunting.

Services conducted by Keith Prince were April 11 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with visitation from noon until 2 p.m. with service following. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tillman and Annie Hill, and brother, Bradley Hill.

Robert is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joyce; son Chris and wife Lori Hill, Russellville; daughter Peggy and husband Pete Black, New Bethel; grandchildren Craig and wife Monica Black, Brent Black, Lorie and husband Josh Robbins; and great-grandchildren, Chaney and Briley Black and Keslie, Kanen, Kinzie and Aidan Robbins.

Pallbearers were Craig Black, Brent Black, Josh Robbins, Kanen Robbins, Jerry Hovater and James Hester.
