Jack Skidmore, age 74, Russellville, passed away May 18 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. May 20 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. May 21 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Bro. Gerald Ricketts will be officiating. Burial will be at Belgreen Cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of almost 54 years, Christine Bell Skidmore; children, Michelle Ricketts and husband Gerald, Bridget Holt and husband Max and Jason Skidmore and wife Shannon; grandchildren, Ethan Ricketts and Jesse Skidmore; brother, Charles Skidmore and wife Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Skidmore; mother, Annie Wilson Skidmore; sister, Nettie Snider; and brother, Elbert Skidmore.

The pallbearers will be David Kennedy, Johnny Hill, Lynn Hill, Ethan Ricketts, James Butler and Russell Britton. The honorary pallbearers will be Michael Pounders and Martin Jackson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of ECM CTRU, ICU and CCU, as well as to Dr. Morrow for the love and care of the family.
