The Phil Campbell fishing team swept the competition at the Red Warrior River Rumble bass tournament that was held on Pickwick Lake Aug. 27.

Phil Campbell anglers Levi Rodgers and Joshua Burcham won the student angler division of the tournament with a 10.01 pounds catch.
Trent Gonzalez and Brent Gonzalez of Phil Campbell finished second with 8.55 pounds followed by Dakota Mansell and Cade Baker, also of Phil Campbell, with 8.52 pounds.
Kevin Hill of Phil Campbell won boat captains division.
Kendric Baker and JO Morgan of Phil Campbell won the big fish competition with a 2.81 pounds largemouth bass.

The tournament was held out of Riverfront Park in Sheffield. It attracted student anglers and adult anglers from throughout northwest Alabama and southern Tennessee. The annual tournament is held in memory of Evan Isbell, a member of the Muscle Shoals fishing team who died in a 2015 traffic accident. It raises money for the Red Warrior Foundation, which provides college scholarships to high school anglers and assists people in need.
