Sandra Fowler Davis, age 67 from Flower Mound, Texas, passed away Aug. 11 surrounded by friends and family.

There will be a memorial service on Sept. 11 from 2-3 p.m., with a short service following, at First Baptist Church in Phil Campbell.

Sandra was a Phil Campbell High School and UNA graduate, a member of the Phil Campbell First Baptist Church and an instructor and financial aid administrator at Northwest Shoals in Phil Campbell, where she retired in 2011. She was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and an avid supporter of the Crimson Tide.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Travis Fowler and Aledith Fowler, and brother Jimmy Fowler.

She is survived by her son Mike Davis, daughter in-law Theresa Davis, granddaughters Karli Davis and McKenzie Davis, all of Tuscaloosa; her daughter Michelle Davis Campbell, granddaughter Regan Campbell and grandson Davis Campbell, all of Flower Mound, Texas; sister Jean Stewart of Phil Campbell;  nephew Jeff Fowler of Phil Campbell; nieces Robin Mann Drake of Birmingham, Patrice Fowler Scott of Phil Campbell, Heather Ergle Hyche and Candice Ergle Carnes, both of Hoover; along with several friends and extended family in Alabama and Texas.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society.
