Ernestine Gandy, age 82, Russellville, passed away Dec. 15 at her residence.
The visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Eddie Wix and Bro. Richard Parker. Burial will be at Tharptown Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Gandy; infant daughter; parents, George and Annie Lewey; and brother, Jerry Lewey.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 62 years, Ralph Gandy; daughters, Brenda Hunt and husband Kreg, Teresa Mitchell and husband Mike; grandchildren, April Gandy, Amanda Logan, Russell Logan, Ashley Gandy, Caleb Mitchell and Jared Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Simeon Broome, Levi Bryant, Malachi Minor and Uriah Thompson; siblings, Shirley Scott, Villious Lewey and Marveline Hardin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Terry Powell, Gary Powell, Ricky Powell, Steven Scott, Keith Green and Hunter Lewey.
The family would like to extend a thanks to Keller Hospice and Heather Mims and an extra special thanks to Amy Davis for the great care of our mother and grandmother.
