Dorthy Ann “Dot” Scott

Dorthy Ann “Dot” Scott, age 77, Russellville, passed away Jan. 16 at her residence.
Dot was best known for her restaurant, “Dot’s Restaurant.” Everyone that knew Dot, loved her. She was a hardworking woman who didn’t sugarcoat anything and loved her family.
The visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 18 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Andy Cansler. Burial will be at Bethsaida Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Scott; parents, Thomas Lester and Mary Estell Allen; brothers, Tommy Allen and Roy Allen; sister, Martha Franks; nephew, Danny Allen; and brother-in-law, Richard Franks.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Eddie Hicks and wife Tonya; grandsons, Alan Hicks and wife Laura, Chase Hicks and Nick Hicks; great-grandchildren, Trey Alan Hicks and Harrison Wayne Hicks; sisters-in-laws, Betty Allen and Marvalene Allen; and several nephews and nieces.
The pallbearers will Roger Allen, Ronnie Allen, Rodney Allen, Chris Allen, Michael Allen, and Mike Hashider.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Home Health and Hospice, Dr. Charles Jeremy Thompson, Dr. Jerry Williams, and our family and friends for the love and care of our family.
