Russellville Reads: RPL regroups for autumn

While the library staff is taking a break from programs for the month of August to catch up on some day-to-day tasks, the library still offers community space for several local organizations to meet:

  • Starting  23,the Franklin County Extension Office will be using the library for its Eat Well Be Healthy nutrition class. This informational class is free and open to the public.
  • Every third Tuesdayof the month, Amedisys hosts a grief support group meeting at the library at 9 a.m.
  • The last Wednesday of the month the library hosts Medicare training for the community.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity for free knowledge and support from your community members and organizations. Stop by the Russellville Public Library to see what’s on the calendar or visit our website to see what’s happening month to month.

The library was pleased to welcome all Watermelon festival attendees this weekend and support the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce in its endeavors. Thank you to all who stopped by the Friends of the Library book sale! If you didn’t get a chance to stop by, we will be continuing the book sale through Aug. 25.

The library staff has been hard at work cataloging exciting new titles for the library collection. Check out some of these new releases from a few of your favorite authors, like Danielle Steele, James Patterson, Iris Johansen, Daniel Silva and more.

Don’t forget to check us out on our new website, www.russellvillepubliclibrary.com, and on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
