CB&S Bank welcomes new assistant vice president
CB&S Bank has welcomed veteran banker Alana Parker to its team as assistant vice president and corporate communications investor relations associate.
Parker will be working from the bank’s main office in Russellville.
A Russellville native, Parker has nearly 20 years of banking experience. In her new role, she will be responsible for the bank’s financial literacy program, all corporate communications and shareholder relations.
Parker is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, where she earned a bachelor of business administration, and she is a 2019 graduate of Alabama Banking School.
She has served as an active participant in the FDIC Youth Banking Network since its inception and has presented multiple programs across the country about the need for the provision of financial literacy education to young people.
She serves the community and multiple school systems through several advisory boards and is a member of Russellville First Baptist Church. She is married to Christian Parker, and they have three children: Cade, 14, Mackie Drew, 9, and Thomas, 5.
“Alana brings many years of community banking experience to CB&S Bank and will be a wonderful asset to our team,” said Dawn Cherry, chief analytics officer. “Her knowledge and success with financial literacy programs will be a great benefit to our communities we serve as well.
