Sherrie Cummings

Sherrie Cummings, 61, of Russellville, passed away Nov. 20 at her residence.

Sherrie was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and grandmother to eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Ruth Montgomery; brother, Bobby Montgomery; and father-in-law, Jerry Cummings.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Donnie Cummings; children, Donnie Cummings Jr. (wife Jamie), Cristy Allen (husband Chris) and Brian Cummings (wife Ashley); grandchildren, Bradley Cummings, Maddison Cummings, Dakota Cummings, Carter Allen, Parker Allen, Cameron Allen, Analena Cummings and Paxton Allen; sisters, Geraldine Mansell and Dot Venson; best friends, Darlene and Gary Duncan; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 22, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel in Russellville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 23 at Gateway Church in Russellville, with the body lying in state one hour prior to the service.

The burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.

Officiating will be Bro. Nick McSpadden and Sister Pearl Shelton.

The family wanted to give a special thanks to the nurses at Kindred Hospice, Erica Barnes Adams and Russellville Hospital, the police department and Dr. John.
