9th Annual Relay for Life bass tourney set for March 30

The Will’s Willing Walkers Relay for Life Team will be hosting their 9th Annual Relay for Life Open Bass Tournament on Saturday, March 30, fro 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Cedar Creek Slick Rock Boat Ramp.
Entry fee is $70 per boat with a $10 per boat lunker fee (100 percent payback), and all proceeds will go to support the American Cancer Society through the Franklin County Relay for Life.
Two contestants ages 16 and older will be allowed per boat and there will be a limit of five fish per boat. Fish will be weighed based on pound and ounce system.
The first place winner will receive $1,000 guaranteed. Prizes for second and third place will be based on the number of tournament entries.
Rhonda Boyles, co-captain of the Will’s Willing Walkers team, said the tournament has always been a lot of fun for all involved.
“This is a great event for all of our fishermen in the area,” Boyles said.
“They are able to come out and do something they love while also supporting a good cause, so it’s a win-win for everyone.”
Tournament entry forms are already being accepted.
