Eddie Ray “Chuck” Petree, 52, died Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Jan. 6, 1961, in Hodges, and was a logger. He attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

Services were Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Jimmy Dale Sartain officiating. Burial was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are his wife, Sandra Petree, Golden, Miss.; three sons, Bradley Ray Petree, Austin Dale Franks and Robert Dennis;  one daughter, Jessica Petree (Jessie Ashby); four grandchildren, Nathan Dennis, Robbie Dennis, Zack Dennis and Ceyenne Dennis; four sisters, Linda Jean Pharr and husband, Harold, Shelia Williams and husband, Harry, Charlotte Raper and Heather Clingan and husband, Paul; four brothers, Bill Petree and wife, Frankie, Wade Petree, Rennien Petree and Terry Petree and wife, Holly, and an uncle, Tommy Petree and wife, Earlene.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.L. “Bus” Petree and Avadean Petree and three sisters, Willadean, Brenda and Joyce Petree.

Pallbearers were Brad Petree, Terry Petree, Rennien Petree, Bill Petree, Josh Williams, Justin Elrod, Joseph Williams and Lance Pharr.
