Lenice Mae Johnson Hammock

Lenice Mae Johnson Hammock, 73, passed away July 2.

She was a lifetime resident of Franklin County and a member of the Eastside Church of Christ in Russellville. She was an educator in the Franklin County school system for over 35 years. Mrs. Hammock was a genuine, loving person who loved her students and all she came in contact with.

The visitation will be July 7 from 5-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The service will be July 8, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens.  Mike Morrow, Randall Hammock and Johnny Richardson will be officiating. Congregational singing will be directed by Mark Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cohen and Opal Johnson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 wonderful years, Raymond Hammock; son, Randall Hammock and wife, Pamie; daughter, Denisha Tiffin and husband, Lex; three grandchildren, Brantley Hammock, Emmett Tiffin and Blair Hammock; two brothers, Hoyt and Roy Johnson; sister, Grace Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith Thomas, Wayne Johnson, Kirby Kennedy, Bill Thompson, Wayne Williams and Josh Hester.

Honorary bearers are Bob Hamilton, John Rickard and Jimmy Seay.
