Joyce Hastings Moore

Joyce Hastings Moore, 87, passed away Nov. 6 at her home in Muscle Shoals. She was born in Rienzi, Miss., to Cliff and Alene Bragg Hastings. She was a seamstress and attended Faith Church in Florence.

Funeral services will be Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. Jackie Hastings officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay.

Survivors are her son, Steve Moore and wife Stephanie of Muscle Shoals; two grandchildren, Jessup Moore and Joseph Moore; brother, Don Hastings; sister, Nancy Carolyn Hastings; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Fred H. Moore; her parents; and three brothers, Bob Hastings, David Hastings and Charles Hastings.

Pallbearers will be her six nephews, Donnie Hastings, Mark Hastings, Joe Hastings, Bill Davis, Brent Davis and Ped Hicks.

Visitation will be Nov. 9 from noon to 2 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Shoals, 115 Fairground Road, Florence, AL 35630.
