Jean Ann Montgomery

Jean Ann Montgomery, age 55, Russellville, passed away Nov. 20 at Huntsville Hospital.

Jean graduated from Phil Campbell High School in 1980, where her nickname was “Jean, Jean, the Dancing Machine.” She was a loving wife and mother and a great friend. She loved her family very much. She had been at River City Care & Rehabilitation Center for the last several years, and she always enjoyed the visits and phone calls from her friends.

The visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Nov. 26 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at Blue Springs Cemetery in Phil Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Baker and Linda Alexander Baker, and brother, James Baker.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Tommy Montgomery; daughter, Lynn Montgomery Nichols and husband Austin; granddaughter, Ava Kayte Nichols; sister, Martha Roberts and husband Olen; sister-in-law, Linda Baker; cousins, Charles Frederick, Jack Frederick and Leon Frederick; close friends, Pam Galloway Capps, Lynn Fleming Landers and Larica Davis Clark; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other friends and classmates.
