Derek Lynn Scott

Derek Lynn Scott, 33, passed away Dec. 2. He was born in Amory, Miss., and was a truck driver.

Graveside services were Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay, with Bro. David Holcomb officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay.

Survivors are one daughter, McKinzi Austin, Red Bay; his father, Lynn Scott and wife Krista, Red Bay; his mother, Kim Galloway, Birmingham; and two brothers, Chris Scott, Red Bay, and Chipper Galloway, Russellville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Drake Scott, and his grandparents, Buddy and Martha Scott and Ed and Shirley Humphres.

Visitation was Dec. 6, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
