Letter to the Editor: ‘Thank you to everyone who so generously supported’

Dear Editor,

On behalf of United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Alabama, thank you to everyone who so generously supported our recent telethon on March 7, 2021 on My-8 and Facebook Live. We were so thankful to God and to this community for pledges of around $81,000 to help us provide services to children who are developmentally disabled for another year.

We are overwhelmed by the support we’ve received – especially during a pandemic.

A special thanks to Florence High School’s Digital Media Department for opening their doors to us and for producing the telethon this year. This endeavor would not be possible without the help of so many.

And most of all, thanks to all of you who opened your hearts and wallets to give to the telethon again this year. Thank you for caring enough to reach out and help your friends and neighbors by giving your hard earned money to UCP of Northwest Alabama so that we can continue to provide FREE therapy and services to families again this year.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Sincerely,

Alison Isbell
