Services for Cecil Dairl Stark will be held today at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wallace Lucky officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery.
Mr. Stark, 69, of Meridian, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, in Meridian.
Survivors include his wife, Noretta Stark of Meridian; children, Joyce Collins and her husband, Albert, of Lafe, Ark., Dairl Stark of Meridian and Julie Caraway and her husband, Coley, of Columbus; grandchildren, Jennifer Lockhart and her husband, Lee, C. Todd Moseley, Joshua Collins, Hunter Collins, Michael Simmons and his wife, Stephanie, Daniel Stark, Jessica Stark, Caleb Stark, Samuel Stark, Sophia Odom, Anna and Shawn Beals, Christa and David Beals, Lauren Holley and Jonathan Holley; great-grandchildren, Trinity Beals, Micheal J. Simmons and another on the way; brothers, Forrest Stark and his wife, Mary,and Mark Stark and his wife, Irma, all of Summerville, Mo., Walter Stark and his wife, Shenora, of Irving, Texas, and Norman Stark and his wife, Mary, of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

NEWTON Services for Paul Johnson Mayes were to be held today at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lin Chesney officiating. Burial was to be in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Mayes, 67, of Chunky, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was retired from Esco Corporation as a core maker and was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Daniels Mayes of Chunky; a son, Curtis P. Mayes and his wife, Gina Wall Mayes, of Newton; sisters, Inez Hollingsworth of Newton, Gladys Sorey of Pineville and Gina Uzzle of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; brothers, James Mayes of Lawrence and Bill Mayes of Forest; and a grandson, Kurt Gibson Mayes of Newton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Bessie Powell Mayes; sisters, Agnes Hollingsworth and Kathleen Rowzee; and a brother, Sam Mayes.
Pallbearers will be Brent Mayes, Kent Mayes, Douglas Mayes, Billy Mayes, Bud Hollingsworth, Dale Hollingsworth and Chris Vaughn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hubert Hollingsworth and Melvin Hollingsworth.

UNION Services for Malcolm Ezell will be held today at 3 p.m. at Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Charles Morrow and Bobby Reddin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ezell, 95, of Union, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Magnolia South Regional Care in Union.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cecil Carey Ezell of Union; a daughter, Rowena Rigdon and her husband, Denver, of Union; a son, DuWayne Ezell and his wife, Jane, of Hattiesburg; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Christine Addy of Newton; and a brother, Marshall Ezell and his wife, Mary, of Wickenburg, Ariz.
Visitation will be today 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home

Services for Nellie Burke Stafford will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Elvin Sunds officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stafford, 81, of Meridian, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was the owner of Stafford Produce and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Debi Clark and her husband, Robert, of Birmingham, Ala.; a grandson, John Kreutz and his wife, Julie, of Meridian; a granddaughter, Keri Hopkins and her husband, Kevin, of Birmingham; great-grandchildren, Kevin Hopkins Jr. and Kristen Hopkins; a brother, Patrick Burke of Brooklyn; a sister, Garnet Whittaker of Hattiesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
