Reanna Leigh McKissack and Ryan Lee Mathis, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, June 14, 2003, at Highland Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl White officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Barry McKissack, and Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Mathis, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are C.W. McKissack and the late Katherine McKissack, and Imogene Weldon and the late Arnell Nichols.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Francis Parker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Mathis.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Greer Goldman, organist; Tammy Miles, pianist; and Franklin Denham, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white strapless satin and chiffon gown featuring a beaded bodice adorned with crystals and pearls. The skirt flowed into a chapel-length train. She wore a fingertip-length veil which fell from a crystal and pearl tiara.
Alanna McKissack of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Jessica Dodson Lewis, Kasey Reid McBrayer, Leigh Ann McKissack Nance and Tabitha Smith Richie, all of Meridian.
Madison Miles of Meridian was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Josh Berdami, Lane Miles, Chad Thompson, Marcus Young, Caleb Brand, Joey Martin, Brent McBrayer, Brad Williams and Scott Young, all of Meridian.
Parker Dixon of Meridian was ring bearer.
Program attendants were Katelyn Rodgers and Laura Grace Stuckey.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Keri Coleman, Shea Leake, Keri Mathis, Kelli McKissack and Laura Grace Stuckey.
After a honeymoon in Orange Beach, Ala., the couple resides in Meridian.
