50th anniversary
Chester A. "Bug" Pickard and Jean Caraway Pickard were married Oct. 3, 1953, in Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. They recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with family at Long's Fish Camp. Children of the couple are Sheryl Marshall and her husband, Ross, Pam Thompson and her husband, Michael, and Steve Pickard. They have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. The Pickards are members of Mt. Horeb Church and enjoy working in their yard and garden.
50th anniversary
A reception honoring the 50th anniversary of Milton and Ruby Fleming will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at Cross Roads Methodist Protestant Church fellowship hall in Quitman. Family and friends are invited to attend.
