Brandon resident Gwen McKee will appear on QVC throughout the day today with her new cookbook, "Beyond Grits and Gravy: The South's All-Time Favorite Recipes."
The book includes more than 400 Southern recipes hand-selected by editors McKee and Barbara Moseley from more than 17,000 recipes in their acclaimed Best of the Best State Cookbook Series.
McKee and Moseley, who together have edited 65 cookbooks, also included some of their own never-before-published recipes, along with personal photographs and stories that paint a colorful picture of the South.
The book is full of photographs and stories.
Since 1996, McKee has made more than 100 QVC appearances and has sold more than 400,000 cookbooks.
