Toyteshia Bourdeaux and Cedric Phillips, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas Ardd officiating.
Music for the ceremony was provided by April McGlothin and Eric Bloxson.
The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Fred Smith.
She wore a black and white off-the-shoulder dress accented with a black shawl. Her butterfly veil was anchored by a pearl and sequined headband.
Tierria McGlothin of Meridian served as maid of honor. Other attendants were Shirley Johnson and Clara Smith, both of Meridian.
Ced'teashia Phillips of Meridian, the couple's daughter, was honorary flower girl.
Brandon Sparrow of Meridian served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jeremy Clayton, Tyrandy Smith and Jimmy Mason, all of Meridian.
Ke'ondre Phillips of Meridian, brother of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
A reception was held in the church family life center following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Yolanda Grady, Linda Clayton, Shirley Johnson, Annie Adams, Kim Phillips, Diane Bourdeaux, Cordelia Brown and Clara Smith.
The couple resides in Meridian.
