Syble McAdory Kemp and Randy Joe Kemp of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Leigh, to Robert Aaron Hale, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wayne Hale of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 10, 2004, at First Christian Church in Meridian.
Miss Kemp is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle McAdory, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Kemp, all of Noxapater.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School. She received an associate's degree in fashion design from the Art Institute of Dallas and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University. She is pursuing a master's degree in elementary education.
Miss Kemp is employed by Northeast Middle School.
Mr. Hale is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Gray, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hale, all of Gadsden, Ala.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center. He will graduate in August 2004 with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Hale is employed as a food consultant for Sysco Food Service of Jackson.
A lunch reception will be held at Weidmann's following the ceremony.
