LUMBERTON Services for Robert F. Lee were held May 11 at White Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee, 66, died Monday, May 7, 2001, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include three daughters, Robbie Lynn Williams and Angie James, both of Meridian, and Christy Smith of Poplarville; a brother, Roger Dale Lee of Poplarville; two sisters, Betty Ladner of Poplarville and Barbara Lee of Lumberton; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, George B. Lee, and his mother, Ava Walters Lee.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Pine Grove Church of God in Union.

YORK, Ala. Services for Anna Mae McMahon Shelby will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Bob Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Boyd Cemetery.
Mrs. Shelby, 86, formerly of Boyd, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, N.Y.
Survivors include five children, Walter Frantz of New Port Richie, Fla., James McMahon of Darien Center, N.Y., Patricia Carney of West Henrietta, N.Y., Mary Gavenda of Batavia and Sheila Merle of Alexander, N.Y.; five stepchildren, Marcus Shelby of Birmingham, JoAnn Gillian of Aliceville, Katherine Plott of Boyd, Ruth McCall of Jacksonville, Fla. and Nina Brooks of Greensboro; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, John Joseph McMahon and E.B. Shelby.
Visitation will be today from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Nancy Etta Freeman will be held today at 2 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Duffee with the Rev. Melvin Boles officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Freeman, 88, of Meridian, died Friday, May 18, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a son, William Arthur "Bill" Spence of Collins; two daughters, Evelyn White of Meridian and Barbara Ruth Rutland of Jackson; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Freeman.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
BERNICE HARPER BOSWELL

Graveside services for Bernice Harper Boswell will be held today at 3 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Horel officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boswell of Meridian died Friday, May 18, 2001, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Bell South Pioneers. Mrs. Boswell was employed with Bell South for 42 years and nine months. She only missed nine days of work in 42 years.
Survivors include a cherished loved one, Tommy Rayner of Meridian; a nephew, Thomas T. Hinton of Coco Beach, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Dolly Harper of Livingston, Ala.; a beloved friend, Linda Budinich of Meridian; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Temple Boswell; her father, Benjamin Franklin Harper; her mother, Sadie Lou Enzor; a brother, J.L. "Cooter" Harper; and a sister, Thelma Hinton.
The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
Visitation will be today from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Graveside services for John D. Brown will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. John Edwards, Jessie Napp and Roy Dabbs officiating. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Brown, 79, died Friday, May 18, 2001, in his home. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Lee Brown, a daughter, Mary Piner, a son, Danny Brown, two stepsons, Bobby Jack Davis and Laverne Lee Davis, all of Meridian; a sister, Rita Morland and her husband, B.L.; three brothers, Bob Brown and his wife, Geloria, of Mobile, Ala., Wilford Brown of Jackson and Norris Brown and his wife, Becky, of Arkansas; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pennie Lee Brown; his parents and three brothers.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Beech, Tommy Beech, Ed Bradley, Drew Dabbs, Kenneth Ivey and Mike Kynerd.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Davis, Laverne Davis, Eddie Green and Andy Hannah.
Visitation will be today from 5:30 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Tanksley, 17, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of Meridian, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Omaha.
Survivors include his mother, Francis E. Tanksley of Meridian; two brothers, Henry D. and Kenneth E. Tanksley of Omaha; grandparents, Gladys Tanksley and James L. Tanksley, both of Meridian; and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church.
