Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal gown of matte satin. Embroidered flowers centered with clusters of pearls trellised around the strapless bodice, which closed with covered buttons down the back. A wide border of matching embroidered flowers encircled the hemline, which swept into a chapel-length train.
For her headpiece, the bride wore a jeweled tiara with tiers of illusion edged in satin cording. She carried a bouquet of ivory bridal roses with a lace-covered Bible carried by her mother on her wedding day. The Bible was a gift from the bride's great-aunt, Christine Cady Lee.
