The Lamar Raiders fell to 1-5 by dropping a 63-55 decision to Manchester Friday night.
The three pointers were falling, as Lamar tossed in seven, and Manchester added six.
Jace Hill was not enough, as he tossed up 16 points, with four three pointers.
Hill had six points at the half, and he came out and added 10 in the final half.
The Mavericks jumped out to an early first quarter score of 17-7, but Lamar would come back.
Hill hit two three pointers in the second quarter, to cut the lead to 23-22 at the halftime intermission.
Lamar posed a threat late in the third quarter, however Manchester withheld the comeback, as they outscored Lamar 40-33 in the final two periods.
Lamar was led in scoring by Hill and Joe Bryant with 16, and David Haggard added seven.
The Mavericks were led in scoring by Jeffery Carpenter with 18, Josh Hoffman with 14, and Jacob Woodard with 13.
The Raiders will travel to Kemper Academy for its annual tournament after the Christmas holiday.
The 2-5 Manchester Mavericks will host University Christian on Thursday.

The Manchester Lady Mavericks literally dominated the Lady Raiders Friday night, as they took a 57-30 decision back to Yazoo City.
The Lady Mavericks scored 17 easy points in the first quarter en route to an easy win over the Lady Raiders.
Unfortunately, success wasn't in the air Friday night, as the Lady Raiders only scored double digits in one-of-four quarters.
The Lady Raiders trailed 35-17 at halftime, and they only scored 13 points compared to 22 for Manchester.
The Lady Raiders were led in scoring by Libby Huff with six, and April Rodgers added five.
The Lady Mavericks were led in scoring by Kaley Cerda with 18, and Emily Edgar added 16.
The 3-8 Lady Raiders will be in action again after the holidays, as they travel to Kemper Academy to tangle with University Christian.
The 10-4 Lady Mavericks will host University Christian on Thursday night, tipoff is slatted for 6:30.
