PHILADELPHIA Services for Bessie S. Herrington will be held today at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. Dwight Faulkenbery and Mark Cloys officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Herrington, 94, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a retired housemother for Baptist Children's Village in Jackson.
Survivors include her daughter, Dot McKee of Philadelphia; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
REV. M. GLENN SMITH

PHILADELPHIA The Rev. M. Glenn Smith, 87, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at Rest Care Hospice in Philadelphia.
Services are today at 1 p.m. at Bethsaida Baptist Church, near Philadelphia, with burial in the church cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Smith was born Oct. 5, 1914, in Neshoba County to the late Albert Jasper Smith and Jessie Louis Hardy Smith. He married Zudye Belle Willis also of Neshoba County in 1936.
The Rev. Smith was ordained to the Baptist ministry at the age of 21, by his home church Bethsaida Baptist. He graduated from House High School in Neshoba County, Clarke Memorial Baptist College in Newton, Mississippi College in Clinton and The New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
He pastored in Mississippi for many years, serving churches in DeKalb, McComb and Corinth, as well as many others. He served in churches in Florida from 1964 until returning to Mississippi in 1983. Churches served after moving back to Philadelphia include Rock Branch Baptist Church, Union County and Center Ridge Baptist Church in Kemper County. In addition to pastorates, his ministry included years of serving as county missionary in both Mississippi and Florida.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Zudye Willis Smith and four children, the Rev. Jo Smith Hollman and her husband, Harold, of Jackson, Zudith L. Manning Ph.D. of Philadelphia, Cheri Smith Williams NCC and her husband, David, of Vicksburg, and Michael Glenn Smith of Philadelphia; a sister, Maye Kimbrell of Jackson; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to Bethsaida Baptist Church, Stewpot Community Services or other charities.
MARGIE SMITH DAVIS

IUKA Services for Margie Smith Davis will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Del Blackman and Tony Pounders officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis, 94, of Iuka, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at Iuka Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Donald S. Davis and his wife, Lynn, of Meridian, and Lloyd Lee Davis and his wife, Jane, of Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Doris Williams and her husband, Herbert, of Dunwoody, Ga.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to Harmony United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
HAZEL HAILEY WILLIAMSON MITCHELL

LOUISVILLE Services for Hazel Hailey Williamson Mitchell will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Louisville with the Revs. Howard Hathorn and Buddy Carrol officiating and Dr. Phil Gerber assisting. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Louisville with Tilghman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mitchell died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at Care Center of Louisville. She was a member of First United Methodist Church for 35 years and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include four daughters, Janice Reed of Louisville, Annette W. Moore of Meridian, Bobbie Moore of Columbus and Teresa Jenkins of Stafford, Va.; two sons, Clement Williamson of Dana, Fla. and D.B. Williamson Jr. of Louisville; four sisters, Sybil Wolf of Starkville, Rachel Edmonds of Georgia, Lucille Gillis of Columbus and Jerri Dees of Florida; two brothers, George Hailey of Louisville and Boylon Hailey of Preston; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Jeanie Hailey and her husbands, D.B. Williamson Sr. and Maurice Mitchell and one grandson, Jeff Moore.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Leslie Aycock will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Marion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Aycock, 96, of Marion, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
