Graveside services for Robert O. Logan will be held today at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Horel officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Logan, 79, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Benchmark Health Care. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the 96th Signal Battalion in China, India and the Burma Theatre of War.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Logan of Meridian; daughters, Robin Logan of Houston, Texas, Kim Wilkins and her husband, Philip, of Birmingham, Ala.; a son, Keith Logan and his wife, Elizabeth, of Meridian; grandchildren, Clay Logan, Matthew Hutchinson and his wife, Kerry, all of Meridian, and Angela Logan of Pearl; a great-grandchild, Joseph Bryan Hutchinson of Meridian; and a sister, Elsie Logan of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Logan.
The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 919 North Michigan Ave., Suite 1100, Chicago, ILL 60611-1676.

UNION Services for J.C. "Jake" Savell will be held today at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Burrell officiating. Burial will be in Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery in Neshoba County with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Savell, 87, of Union, died Saturday, Jan. 26,2 002, at Helping Hands Hospice in Madden. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and a master mason of the Golden Grove Masonic Lodge No. 0323.
Survivors include his wife, Pinkie Miles Savell; two daughters, Wanda Bernard and her husband, Carl, of Union and Nancy McElroy and her husband, Lamar, of Cuba, Ala.; two sisters, Eleanor Sharp of Philadelphia and Irma Dee Rasberry of Vernon, Ala.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Myles Clayton Savell.
Pallbearers will be Tom Barnett, Tim Barnett, Lonnie Warren, Harvey Townsend, Don Elliott and R.A. Hamilton.

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. Services for Miriam Lynn Hardin Stewart will be held today at 8 p.m. at Vogler and Sons Reynolda Road Chapel with the Rev. Linda Lewis officiating.
Mrs. Stewart, 56, of Pfafftown, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2002, in her home. She was a native of Union, Miss.
Survivors include her husband, William James Stewart Jr.; three sons, William James Stewart III and his wife, Nienke, Jason Allen Stewart, all of Winston Salem, and Bruce Eric Stewart of Athens, Ga.; a sister, Patricia Ann Mounce of Clinton, Miss.; two brothers, Mark Allen Hardin of Pearl, Miss., and Charles Kenneth Hardin of Jackson, Miss.; and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Winston Salem Forsyth Co.

Mr. Litchfield, 82, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, in Marion. He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Lynn Coleman and her husband, Murry, of Marion; sons, Doyle Litchfield and his wife, Pat, of Meehan, Wendell "Winky" Litchfield and his wife, Charlotte, George "Joe" Litchfield and his wife, Judy, Arthur "Dee" Litchfield and his wife, Mae Ruth, Dewayne Litchfield and his wife, Deborah, Billy Litchfield and his wife, Judy, and Douglas Litchfield and his wife, Annie, all of Meridian; sisters, Laverne Litchfield, Martha Ann Mann and her husband, Hugh, all of Greensboro, N.C.; a brother, Bobby Litchfield and his wife, Flora, of Celina, Ohio; 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Litchfield, Tony Litchfield, Jeremy Litchfield, Larry Previtt, Bryan Litchfield, Michael Litchfield, Billy Ray Litchfield and Steven Litchfield.

Mrs. Colburn, 88, of Meridian, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, William Colburn of Meridian; daughters, Margie Faye Mattossian of San Juan Capastranio, Calif., Bonnie Booth of Gastonia, N.C., Brenda Joyce Miller of North Ridge, Calif., and Bettie Gene Peterson of Eureka, Calif.; a son, Alfred Joseph Bangle of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
